India - 73% Dark Chocolate

If you have ever been to India, you know it can be a trip to say the least. When we headed to India in 2019, we were able to experience the sights, sounds, and flavours that India has to offer. It was intense, but one of the best places we have had the fortune to explore. What started out as a personal trip quickly turned into work when we discovered the southwestern state of Kerala. It is known for its palm lined beaches and mountain slopes that support the growth of coffee, spices, and, you guessed it, cacao. We met with Luca and Ellen who founded GoGround Beans & Spices. We jumped aboard their truck and tagged along as they began their weekly pickups of cacao from the neighbouring farmers.
